Swap your cap

If your purchased cap from us is the wrong size, we offer free exchange for another size or model. Before making a decision to swap the cap, always contact us by phone +45 2814 8929.

You can only swap if:

  • The order is a headwear product purchased at wilgart.dk or in our own physical shop in Copenhagen and Bornholm.
  • The order have not been applied any discount.
  • You still have the order number / receipt number.

Once we have jointly figured out which size is right for you, we can plan a return and exchange for the right size or style.

It is not given that we have exactly the same cap style in your correct size in stock, therefore it is important that you contact us BEFORE you return your cap to us.

Free return and exchange is done by using the country specific Return Portal links. Currently we support return free shipping labels from: Denmark, Sweden, Germany, France, Belgium, Finland, Austria and Netherlands. Shipping costs when returning from other countries are paid by you.

I got the cap as a gift, can it be exchanged?

You can still swap the cap for another size or style. It is just important that you call us on tel. +45 2814 8929 so we can agree how we reach the target.

Please notice that swapping products from Wilgart does not apply to other product categories than headwear. Swapping is allowed if:

  • Headwear product purchased at wilgart.dk or in our own physical shop in Copenhagen and Bornholm.
  • The order have not been applied any discount.
  • You would still need to have the order number / receipt number at hand.

Can I exchange without my receipt/order confirmation?

We can jointly try figure out what the order number is, based on our sales records. Swapping the cap for abother size or style might still be possible. It’s just important that you call us on tel. +45 2814 8929 so we can agree how we’re doing it.

As a starting point, we want you to get a cap that suits you in size and design. That is why we are happy to walk the extra mile to achieve this goal.

Can I swap my cap in the store?

It is always best to try the cap correctly and see how it sits on your head. You have the best chance of doing this if you visit our shop and workshop, or our selected resellers.

Can all caps be swapped?

We want to help you exchange all new caps, whether they have been given to you, bought in our store, or sent to your mailbox.
However, exceptions apply to

  • Special tailored caps You can’t swap your cap if it’s specially made for you. We may be able to help you adjust the size, but it requires you to come visit the workshop physically.
  • Caps you’ve already swapped once, cannot be swapped again.
  • Caps you have been using.
  • Caps that are damaged in any way.

How long before I exchange my cap?

You should preferably swap your cap for the right one durring the same season. I.e. a winter cap is exchanged before winter is over.

In addition, the requirement is that the cap has not been used.

As a starting point, we want you to get a cap that suits your whishes reguarding size and design. That is why we are happy to walk the extra mile to achieve this goal. But we’d rather you don’t wait too long to react and get your cap swapped.

Can I get my money back?

To use the right of cancel an order, you must send us an email within 14 days of receiving the cap. In addition, you can purchase the shipping for return via the Return & Refund page.

Currently we support return shipping labels from: Sweden, Germany, France, Belgium, Finland, Austria and Netherlands.

Please note that the return of an item due to cancel of purchase is not free of charge. If you use our offer to swap your cap for free for another, you will not be able to cancel the purchase later in the process.

My country is not available?

If your country is not available, please write EXCHANGE on the package and send it to:

Responsibility for the product and the value of this accrues to you until the package reaches Wilgarts adress confirmed by a delivery confirmation. The costs of returning and also shipment of the new cap, will be yours to pay.

Remember to give us a phone call on +45 28148929 before you ship your package.

You can only use the cap swapping service once per order. So you can’t swap your cap more than once.

How do I exchange my cap?

We always recommend that you come by the shop and try another one. If you are not able to do this, or do you wish to exchange it by post order, then follow the instructions below.

First, you contact us by phone and we agree which cap you want to swap for.

Then you use the Return Portal link to get a free return label, and get the return slip through the portal.

You must place the items in a shipping box that cap retain the caps original shape. If possible, use original packaging.

The price of return freight and the freight for shipping your new cap is free of charge, when you use the cap swaping service. We offer this service because, it is our highest desire that you get the right size and thus a good comfort.
