A sailor is six pieces of fabric with a folded edge band arround. The sailor caps are also called Jazz caps, and some hipsters in Copenhagen excange their beanie knit cap, with a more noble sailorcap with lining and a sophisticated look.

      This sailorcap keeps your head warm throughout the cold months. The lambskin exudes exclusivity, and the lining is padded to provide extra hold and warmth. In the hat store Wilgart, it is important that our bridle is differentiated so that we have winter caps and summer caps, and also a transitional collection. The Sailor raffael is designed for use in the winter months, and we also carry an even more robust version, the Sailor Rudrick (lambskin).

      Special warm and robust sailorcap in the classic Harris Tweed wool fabric from the Outer Hebrides in Scotland. Lovely warm headdress which stands out with its various mixed panels. The colors and patterns in this skullcap may differ from those in the picture, as we use the residual fabrics that we have lying around in smaller quantities. However, the colors are aligned into two categories that become these two models:
      1. The grey/blue Sailor Toker Harris tweed mix
      2. The brownish Sailor Boromir brown tweed mix

      This lightweight headgear is made of pure new wool. On the inside, the sailing hat has a comfortable light lining. The style is called Sailor cap, or among musicians it’s also refereed to as a Jazz cap. The sailor has no rim, and thus very useful on the windy oceans of the world. An old classic for sailors. Please note that this sailor cap is NOT black. The color is a deep dark navy blue.

      The porous look of this sailorcap makes it stand out. Yet the look is deceiving, because the Italian tanned leather is not fragile after all. It is durable and will last for many years to come.       This lightweight sailing hat is made of fine summery flax fibers, which are distinguished by its airy and absorbent properties. It is a fine dockworker cap which weighs very little and is therefore comfortable both inside and outside. The Sailor cap has a thin and light viscose that helps keep in shape. The model is called a Sailor cap, but is often called many other things, for example among musicians it is called a Jazz cap, among common people it is called a dockworker cap or perhaps the most widely used name sailing cap.

Sailorcaps have become trendy to use since the mid-2010s, in Denmark, Scandinavia and the rest of Europe. The skullcap has no shade and is therefore useful on the world's oceans and as sun protection for a bald person. A true hat classic for sailors and marines.
