The saturated black colored woolly cap will remain dark for many years to come. Wool is bleached only to a minimal extent by the sun's rays, compared to cotton or linen fabrics. This cap has been tested to remain black for more than 10 years. The fine suede on the shade is made of goatskin, and will eventually get a nice patina. The leather can withstand all weathers, and can advantageously be dyed with shoe polish after 3-5 years of use. The inside of this cap is covered with the lining of a massive soft moleskine cotton fabric. Handmade in Germany, by Master Bullmann. This beautiful shepherd's hat in Harris Tweed, is sewn according to old traditions. The hat, sewn by a cap maker, is a predecessor of the urban and modern "bucket hat", but originally the bucket hats was in heavy wool and typically worn by shepherds and villagers in Ireland and Scotland. In English-speaking countries, the shepherd's hat is also called a bucket hat. Wilgart hat shop in Nørrebro is proud to have purchased this original herringbone-woven Harris Tweed wool, in which the bucket hat is sewn. This hunting cap is not only suitable for outdoor use. Both men and women wear flatcaps, and use tweed for so-called tweed rides around the world. Vintage and old bikes pass through the city and attract masses of enthusiastic Tweed lovers to the Tweed Ride. The hardest thing when you as a craftsman have to sew this cap is to make the pattern of the fabric fit together. It takes many years of experience as a cap maker to master cutting and sewing after checkered fabric. Therefore, the cap makers who have sewn this flatcap are trained in Germany by Master Herr Bullmann who himself for over 35 years has sewn sixpence caps. The cap is of the highest quality. The fabric comes from an illustrious fabric weaving mill: Schürmann Schröder, which today is one of the oldest family companies in the German textile industry. This flatcap is quite narrow and is among the most modern flatcap designs that Master Bullmann has made in recent years. Bullani Mützen and Wilgart found that narrow sixpence caps are more fashionable in the current decade. Bullmann this narrow nice cap shape. In the past, sixpoence caps were a lot wider and had more volume, but today most people prefer this shape of the cap. My teacher Herr Bullmann always says that an artisanal and well-made piece of headgear sells itself without further introduction. Our cap with inner ear flaps is slightly wider than most flatcaps in our hat shop. It takes a little extra to fit the ear flaps to fit properly inside the cap. In addition, the earlobes have an incision, which makes the fabric spherical, and ensures that the flaps are snug around your ears and close to head. This cap is sewn according to artisanal traditions, and therefore has the highest standard in comfort and durability. The dark sixpence with earlobes is sewn in our neighbouring country Germany by skilled cap makers with more than 30 years of experience.

A narrow flatcap in rough and sturdy Tweed fabric. The wool is dyed, spun and woven according to old methods. The traditional process, like all the other stages of the production of Harris Tweed, takes place in the Outer Hebrides in the north of Scotland. The green and checkered earthy hues give this sixpence cap a rural and rustic appearance.

This grey sixpence is made from one of the most luxurious fibers you can imagine. The softness of the fabric and the shiny appearance of the cap give it an exclusive look. Cashmere wool is finer, stronger, lighter, softer and about three times more insulating than sheep's wool. The subtle pattern in weaving a black and white colors make this cap appear gray flecked. The fabric for the cap is woven in one of only 4 fabricmills left in Germany. Schürmann Schröder textile mill is managed by the 18th generation of the family. Great traditional craftsmanship is put into this very exclusive and luxurious flatcap from 100% pure cashmere wool.

It is a real joy that Wilgart capshop can offer this forward-thinking sustainable hat product. A narrow modern flatcap in GOTS certified organic flax, handmade in Germany by European raw materials. The outer fabric is medium/heavy weaving in ecological linen. The lining and the headband inside is in organic cotton. The cap color is blue/white treads woven together into a blue-gray hue.

This very summery leisure hat has a shade that is widest at the front, but becomes slightly narrower towards the neck. Thus, the design of the hat is adapted to an active garden and summer vacation use scenario. The outer fabric has been tested for UV-50+ protection, and in addition the extra layer of fabric of our light and airy cotton lining, which keeps the sun's harmful rays at bay. Can be used by women as well as men, and everyone in between. There is a good hold in the shade, which waves lightly all the way around the brim head. The shade has a soft stabilizing insert.

The hardest thing when sewing a handmade cap is to have the leather pulled well over the bill, which consists of modern fibers, and then sew the leathercovered bill directly into the center of the cap. This cap is made by cap makers with more than 30 years of experience in the graceful craft trade. All headgear from Wilgart's hat shop is fixed size, so that each cap proportionally fits your head. This brown basecap is robust, warm, soft and in true natural materials. The brown wool basecap can be worn by most and is suitable for all headsizes.

Our shepherd's hat is made of woven fabric from the old family company "Gebrüder Mehler Tuchfabrik" in Germany. This bucket hat is of the very highest quality. It is shape stable and versatile, and can be rolled up and packed in a suitcase.

From the company Andersen & Berner comes here one of the classic men's (and women's) hats, namely a Fedora felt hat in rabbit hair, The weight for the felt is about 90-100 grams which gives a light but still stable felt, which stabilizes shape and shape. This hat comes with all the typical characteristics of a real Bogart hat. I.e. a clean cut edge, as well as classic black bow. The hat is handmade in Denmark. The hat comes including a beautiful hat pin with a piece of Bornholm granite. Choose from Almindingen, Paradise Hills or Rønne granite stone.
