A pilot cap/motorcycle racer cap in soft leather with matching goggles. Nice bike breed vintage helmet like back in the days. If you are into motocross, old classic cycling races, historic grand prix cars, or convertibles, this leather racing hat will give you both attention and respect amoung motor enthusiasts. It is not every day that you meet someone with such a nice hat, rolling in a nice vehicle. Wilgart's capshop in Copenhagen is the only retailer in Denmark of this leather racing hat. The fabric comes from an illustrious fabric weaving mill: Schürmann Schröder, which today is one of the oldest family companies in the German textile industry. This flatcap is quite narrow and is among the most modern flatcap designs that Master Bullmann has made in recent years. Bullani Mützen and Wilgart found that narrow sixpence caps are more fashionable in the current decade. Bullmann this narrow nice cap shape. In the past, sixpoence caps were a lot wider and had more volume, but today most people prefer this shape of the cap. My teacher Herr Bullmann always says that an artisanal and well-made piece of headgear sells itself without further introduction. Here is a cap in updated style and sewn according to old craft traditions, and which consists of 100% silk fabric. Happy summer!

This baseball cap is made of a light and fine wool fabric called leicht loden. The wool is good both summer and winter, and as specialized cap makers, it is our experience that the wool is the best material for use in headwear. Especially because wool does not bleach as easily as cotton or linen, for example, from the sun's rays. That is why we often use wool in the dark caps, even if they are for summer use. This dark and rich blue baseball cap with brown brim is locally produced by skilled craftsmen in Denmark. The dark navy blue wool is complimented by a warm brown leather shade giving a balanced, light and stylish cap - Made in Denmark.

Traditional flatcap of the classic Harris Tweed fabric. A historical fabric that has a number of distinguishing properties, including the colorful patterns, the traditional form of production, and where the craftsmen who weave the fabric come from the geographically defined archipelago, namely the Outer Hebrides in northern Scotland. This hunting cap is not only suitable for outdoor use. Both men and women wear flatcaps, and use tweed for so-called tweed rides around the world. Vintage and old bikes pass through the city and attract masses of enthusiastic Tweed lovers to the Tweed Ride. The hardest thing when you as a craftsman have to sew this cap is to make the pattern of the fabric fit together. It takes many years of experience as a cap maker to master cutting and sewing after checkered fabric. Therefore, the cap makers who have sewn this flatcap are trained in Germany by Master Herr Bullmann who himself for over 35 years has sewn sixpence caps. The cap is of the highest quality. Eightpiece cap, also called bakerboy or Newsboy cap, which is slightly narrower than our other selected eightpieces. All panels are of different Harris Tweed fabrics, with brown, green, and gray shades. The cap is made from the finest Scottish wool woven according to heritage traditions in the Outer Hebrides in Scotland. The name of the cap is named after the nickname for a character in Lord of the Rings: A countryman named Strider, who later turns out to be a true king's son.

Organic wool in a panama weave combined with durable suede. The cap is light and airy and belongs to our summer collection. The saturated black colored summer cap will remain black for many years to come. Wool is bleached only to a minimal extent by the sun's rays, compared to cotton or linen fabrics. The fine suede on the shade is made of goatskin, and will eventually get a nice patina. The leather can withstand all weathers, and can advantageously be dyed with shoe polish after 3-5 years of use. The inside of this cap is covered with lining with a thin and airy cotton fabric. Handmade in Germany, by Master Bullmann. The famous Madame Tussauds waxwork exhibit of Brando from the movie ‘The Wild One’ wearing this style. The American actor and film director Marlon Brando Jr. was one of the most admired actors in the history of the movies. Marilyn Monroe called him “the sexiest man” she had ever seen. Marlon Brando's cap has become a cultural phenomenon for the stylistically dressed man. The cap is an eightpiece with loose hanging top, which can be pushed from side to side, as well as stand directly up in the air. The same details were seen in the movie 'The Wild One'. Featuring 8/4, eight-quarter paneling, a center top button and a contrasting black shiny leather bill, finished with canvas cotton band and buttons. Beautiful old craft. This wide eightpiece is durable and robust. The cap was Marlon Brando's original signature headgear.
