The saturated black colored woolly cap will remain dark for many years to come. Wool is bleached only to a minimal extent by the sun's rays, compared to cotton or linen fabrics. This cap has been tested to remain black for more than 10 years. The fine suede on the shade is made of goatskin, and will eventually get a nice patina. The leather can withstand all weathers, and can advantageously be dyed with shoe polish after 3-5 years of use. The inside of this cap is covered with the lining of a massive soft moleskine cotton fabric. Handmade in Germany, by Master Bullmann. The fabric comes from an illustrious fabric weaving mill: Schürmann Schröder, which today is one of the oldest family companies in the German textile industry. This flatcap is quite narrow and is among the most modern flatcap designs that Master Bullmann has made in recent years. Bullani Mützen and Wilgart found that narrow sixpence caps are more fashionable in the current decade. Bullmann this narrow nice cap shape. In the past, sixpoence caps were a lot wider and had more volume, but today most people prefer this shape of the cap. My teacher Herr Bullmann always says that an artisanal and well-made piece of headgear sells itself without further introduction. Here is a cap in updated style and sewn according to old craft traditions, and which consists of 100% silk fabric. Happy summer!

These special designed flatcap boxes are made from old archive boxes that have become redundant after Copenhagen Archives' extensive digitization of file cards in the 2010s and 2020s. The hat is available in different colors and has a double-fold edge. The fine rib knit gives the hat good elasticity, and the wool yarn guarantees maximum durability and comfort.

This hunting cap is not only suitable for outdoor use. Both men and women wear flatcaps, and use tweed for so-called tweed rides around the world. Vintage and old bikes pass through the city and attract masses of enthusiastic Tweed lovers to the Tweed Ride. The hardest thing when you as a craftsman have to sew this cap is to make the pattern of the fabric fit together. It takes many years of experience as a cap maker to master cutting and sewing after checkered fabric. Therefore, the cap makers who have sewn this flatcap are trained in Germany by Master Herr Bullmann who himself for over 35 years has sewn sixpence caps. The cap is of the highest quality. The long needle with decorative knob is used as an ornament on a hat or cap. Wilgart's hat and cap pins are made with granite stones from Bornholm. Choose from the reddish Almindingen granite, or the grayish semi-dark Paradise Hill granite, or the all-black obscure Rønne granite. Wilgart's hat shop loves to use local produce, and you can even get a set of cufflinks in the matching granite. We also sell a locally produced leather case for both hat pins and cufflinks. A luxurious baseball cap from the absolute top class materials. Handmade in our own capmaker and hatsshop in Nørrebro, Copenhagen. The fine, lightweight and warming Cashmere wool fibers have a nice sheen and grace that stands out in the subtle herringbone weave pattern. The dark green and black color of the cap gives it a shimmer as Cashmere wool leathers slightly more than sheep's wool. The fabric is woven at the family-run German weaving mill Schürmann Schröder. Inside is a thin black lining consisting of 50% Peace silk and 50% Organic cotton (GOTS certified). The cap has a neutral and stylish look and comes in fixed dimensions so that it fits your head perfectly. In 2023, Wilgart took over the BornholmerShirt and is now responsible for a local production and sale of these unique shirts. You can try on all sizes in our workshop sale at Soldalen, Bornholm. The shirt is only sold here in the webshop and at Soldalen. The special and popular Bornholm Shirt in the colorful floral print, which focuses on Bornholm's flora and fauna. With motifs from Bornholm, you are sure to get in the holiday mood of the Hawaii shirt-inspired look. It's not Hawaii -but it's damn close! O.B.S. The shirt is located at our workshop on Bornholm, and can therefore not be tried on in our store in Nørrebro.
