      This baseball cap is made of a light and fine wool fabric called leicht loden. The wool is good both summer and winter, and as specialized cap makers, it is our experience that the wool is the best material for use in headwear. Especially because wool does not bleach as easily as cotton or linen, for example, from the sun's rays. That is why we often use wool in the dark caps, even if they are for summer use. This dark and rich blue baseball cap with brown brim is locally produced by skilled craftsmen in Denmark. The dark navy blue wool is complimented by a warm brown leather shade giving a balanced, light and stylish cap - Made in Denmark.

      This baseball cap is dressy for both men and women. The light and airy linen, combined with the fine qualities of the wool, gives the cap good properties in terms of comfort and durability. It is locally produced by skilled craftsmen in Wilgart's own cap shop/workshop. The fabric used in the cap comes from one of Germany's oldest weaving mills, Schürmann Schröder. The weaving mill is run as a family business on the 18th generation, and continues all production in Germany. The shade of the cap is made of real leather, and therefore achieves fine patina through many years of use. Give this cap as a gift to him or her who loves a light and stylish cap - Made in Denmark.

The baseball cap is 100% produced in Denmark, from sustainable materials.

      The hardest part when sewing a handmade cap is to get the skin pulled well over the brim's inlays, which consist of modern fibers, and then sew the brim directly into the middle of the cuff. This cap is made by cap makers with more than 30 years of experience in the graceful craft trade. All headgear from Wilgart's hat shop is fixed size, so that each cap proportionally fits your head. This basecap is sturdy, warm, soft and in real natural materials. You can safely put your trust in this hat, which can be worn by most.

      Organic wool in a panama weave combined with durable suede. The cap is light and airy and belongs to our summer collection. The saturated black colored summer cap will remain black for many years to come. Wool is bleached only to a minimal extent by the sun's rays, compared to cotton or linen fabrics. The fine suede on the shade is made of goatskin, and will eventually get a nice patina. The leather can withstand all weathers, and can advantageously be dyed with shoe polish after 3-5 years of use. The inside of this cap is covered with lining with a thin and airy cotton fabric. Handmade in Germany, by Master Bullmann.       The dark weave with grey rivet detail gives the cap an almost black look, but is not pitch black like our model: Benny Black (The perpetual Baseballcap in black wool). The 20% silk fibres in the fabric gives the cap a light glossy look, which fits nicely with the shiny black leather shade. The moleskine cotton lining is soft and comfortable against the head, helping to keep warm, as well as keeping the shape of the cap. The leather strap that can be used to adjust the cap is from German cows, where the leather is tanned with the natural acid pulled out in a rhubarb extract. An environmentally friendly alternative to the normal chrome tanning process. The leather strap has a subtle Wilgart logo engraved, and is carved at our cap sewing workshop on Bornholm. The cap is handmade in Germany with my master, Herr Bullmann.

This brown basecap is robust, warm, soft and in true natural materials. The brown wool basecap can be worn by most and is suitable for all headsizes.
