A timeless classic baseball cap in durable black wool

The saturated black colored woolly cap will remain dark for many years to come. Wool is bleached only to a minimal extent by the sun's rays, compared to cotton or linen fabrics. This cap has been tested to remain black for more than 10 years. The fine suede on the shade is made of goatskin, and will eventually get a nice patina. The leather can withstand all weathers, and can advantageously be dyed with shoe polish after 3-5 years of use. The inside of this cap is covered with the lining of a massive soft moleskine cotton fabric. Handmade in Germany, by Master Bullmann. The fabric comes from an illustrious fabric weaving mill: Schürmann Schröder, which today is one of the oldest family companies in the German textile industry. This flatcap is quite narrow and is among the most modern flatcap designs that Master Bullmann has made in recent years. Bullani Mützen and Wilgart found that narrow sixpence caps are more fashionable in the current decade. Bullmann this narrow nice cap shape. In the past, sixpoence caps were a lot wider and had more volume, but today most people prefer this shape of the cap. My teacher Herr Bullmann always says that an artisanal and well-made piece of headgear sells itself without further introduction. A slightly oval-shaped bucket hat which follows the shape of the head, and has a minimal conical slope towards the top. The bucket hat is a classic for practical reasons, as it provides good shade from the sun. The bucket hat has through changing times belonged to a younger segment of wearers, has been taken up by various subcultures, but is today a cap / hat that everyone can enjoy. The hardest thing when sewing a handmade cap is to have the leather pulled well over the bill, which consists of modern fibers, and then sew the leathercovered bill directly into the center of the cap. This cap is made by cap makers with more than 30 years of experience in the graceful craft trade. All headgear from Wilgart's hat shop is fixed size, so that each cap proportionally fits your head. The hardest thing when you as a craftsman have to sew this cap is to make the pattern of the fabric fit together. It takes many years of experience as a cap maker to master cutting and sewing after checkered fabric. Therefore, the cap makers who have sewn this flatcap are trained in Germany by Master Herr Bullmann who himself for over 35 years has sewn sixpence caps. The cap is of the highest quality. Fine details, and the earthy colours of the cap make it an obvious choice for a nature lover. The Scottish woven wool fabric is in a new and modern Aztec inspired weaving. The fabric is 100% wool, and is fibre dyed, spun and woven in Scotland by skilled people from the otherwise bygone textile weaver industry.
