Sailor caps, or dockers’ caps as they are also called, are a widespread phenomenon in the Nordic countries. They are typically seen in urban settings, but this basic headwear is also common in rural areas. A cap made from six pieces of fabric that are sewn together at the top, with a folded brim all the way around.
