The leather strap that can be used to adjust the cap is dermanaged from German cows, where the leather is tanned with the natural acid of the rhubarb plant. An environmentally friendly alternative to the normal chromium tanning process, in which the tannic acid is replaced by rhubarb extract. The cap is a sustainable product right down to the bone, and the leather brim increases the cap's lifespan, as it is often the material of the brim that wears out over time. Our professional assessment is that you can use this cap for a good ten years. Remember that a nice patina is part of the cap's strength.

The creases in the cap come naturally as a result of the washing and coloring we have applied to the cap. Sold as 2nd sorting due to our coloring that has required 3x washing of the cap.

The bucket hat has through changing times belonged to a younger segment of wearers, has been taken up by various subcultures, but is today a cap / hat that everyone can enjoy. Here comes the bully hat in a summery, robust and mottled fabric that is breathable and comfortable on the head. Protects well from the sun's rays by virtue of the wide shade, the powerful canvas, and the thin lining of the inside. Organic wool in a panama weave combined with durable suede. The cap is light and airy and belongs to our summer collection. The saturated black colored summer cap will remain black for many years to come. Wool is bleached only to a minimal extent by the sun's rays, compared to cotton or linen fabrics. The fine suede on the shade is made of goatskin, and will eventually get a nice patina. The leather can withstand all weathers, and can advantageously be dyed with shoe polish after 3-5 years of use. The inside of this cap is covered with lining with a thin and airy cotton fabric. Handmade in Germany, by Master Bullmann.
