The inside of this cap is lined with a comfortable cotton fabric. The fabric is woven in Germany, and the cap is handmade by Mester Bullani.

Baseball cap hits European popular culture
In the 1960s, a radical change took place in Western culture. People wanted to do away with everything old, and the otherwise well-established and widespread use of headwear was now considered unfashionable and old-fashioned. The magnificent, extra-wide flatcaps and heavy woolen eightpieces disappeared. Even the felt hat was phased out, and many of the hat and cap makers of the time were forced to close their shops. Generations of expertise in the trade were lost. But not all headwear lost its relevance. It was during these years, in fact, that the baseball cap became widely popular. There was a yearning for American middle-class culture and an idolization of American sports and movie stars, many of whom embraced the baseball cap. As a result, it regained some of the ground lost in the world of headwear.
