Flatcap cap with earflaps in absolute top class. In a solid water-repellent wool, with strong lambskin earflaps that are shaped and cover the ears and neck well. There's no better winter hat, and this flatcap is approved for use in even the coldest parts of the Danish Realm. O.B.S. It is recommended to go up at least one size from the head size you are used to wearing. This will accommodate the full earflaps, which should fit inside the cap.

The fabric is of Austrian origin and is therefore resistant to abrasion and the sun's rays. The beret can be pulled down over the head, covering the ears, or it can be worn higher up on the head for a wider silhouette and artistic expression. Made from boiled wool from the Austrian wool mill Gottstein. A serious manufacturer that demands sustainability (GOTS certified production) and high durability in their wool designs. Organic wool in a panama weave combined with durable suede. The cap is light and airy and belongs to our summer collection. The saturated black colored summer cap will remain black for many years to come. Wool is bleached only to a minimal extent by the sun's rays, compared to cotton or linen fabrics. The fine suede on the shade is made of goatskin, and will eventually get a nice patina. The leather can withstand all weathers, and can advantageously be dyed with shoe polish after 3-5 years of use. The inside of this cap is covered with lining with a thin and airy cotton fabric. Handmade in Germany, by Master Bullmann. The cap is designed as a cool summer version of our beloved classic in a slightly heavier wool and with a thicker lining, namely Benny Black (The everlasting baseball cap in black wool)

On the other hand, in collaboration with a local knitting company in Italy, we have produced this versatile and eternally relevant beanie top hat. The hat is available in different colors and has a double-fold edge. The fine rib knit gives the hat good elasticity, and the wool yarn guarantees maximum durability and comfort.

The hardest part of sewing a handmade cap is getting the leather to stretch well over the brim, which consists of modern fibers, and then sewing the brim directly into the center of the brim. This cap is made by our cap makers with more than 16 years of experience in this graceful craft. All headgear from Wilgart's hat shop is fixed size, so that each cap proportionally fits your head.
