An elegant and luxurious baseball cap made of exclusive silk fabric. The cap is made in Wilgart's cap and hat shop in Nørrebro in Copenhagen. We have cut out the fabric in our Bornholm workshop, and assembled the cap parts in the headwear sewingworkshop on Jægersborggade. The fabric is woven at the family-run German mill Schürmann Schröder. Inside is a thin black lining consisting of 50% Peace silk and 50% Organic cotton (GOTS certified). A luxurious baseball cap from the absolute top class materials. Handmade in our own capmaker and hatsshop in Nørrebro, Copenhagen. The fine, light, and warm cashmere wool fibers have a beautiful sheen and elegance that really stand out in the subtle brownish shades. The cap’s color has a certain luster, as cashmere leather shines just a bit more than sheep’s wool. The fabric is woven at the family-run German mill Schürmann Schröder. Inside is a thin black lining consisting of 50% Peace silk and 50% Organic cotton (GOTS certified). The cap has a neutral and stylish look and comes in fixed dimensions so that it fits your head perfectly. Cowhide tanned with rhubarb extract

This baseball cap is sewn from heavy buyer woven linen fabric and has a lovely mottled light color. The leather strap that can be used to adjust the cap is dermanaged from German cows, where the leather is tanned with the natural acid of the rhubarb plant. An environmentally friendly alternative to the normal chromium tanning process, in which the tannic acid is replaced by rhubarb extract. The leather strap has a subtle Wilgart logo engraved, carved on Bornholm in Wilgart's own cap-sewing workshop. The cap is a sustainable product right down to the bone, and the leather brim increases the cap's lifespan, as it is often the material of the brim that wears out over time. Our professional assessment is that you can use this cap for a good ten years. Remember that a nice patina is part of the cap's strength.

This light blue baseball cap is made from sustainable and socially responsible linen. GOTS is considered the most comprehensive, responsible and rigorous certifications in the textile industry, and includes, inter alia, restrictions on environmental and social conditions throughout the value chain, examined and maintained by 3rd Party stakeholders in unannounced inspections. At Wilgart, we are proud to have GOTS certified fabric and caps in our collections. The organic linen gives this cap a classic summer look, and the light colors match jeans, summer shirts and suits. Adjustable using hook & loop (Velcro) at the neck, but available in different sizes so the proportions fit the head perfectly.

The hardest part of sewing a handmade cap is getting the leather to stretch well over the brim, which consists of modern fibers, and then sewing the brim directly into the center of the brim. This cap is made by our cap makers with more than 16 years of experience in this graceful craft. All headgear from Wilgart's hat shop is fixed size, so that each cap proportionally fits your head. This basecap is sturdy, warm, soft and in real natural materials. You can safely put your trust in this hat, which can be worn by most. Made in Denmark

This classic wide and old-school flatcap is made of durable, light and insulating sheep wool. The herringbone woven white and black threads blend into a perfect and everlasting gray surface in herringbone strucure. Our cap store has many classic flatcaps in the popular herringbone weaving. Common to our sixpences in herringbone is that the wool is always woven in Scotland, and comes from British or Scottish sheep.
