The Eight piece also called the News Boy cap consists of eight parts including a button and a shadow. Throughout the 20th century, the 8-piece cap became widespread in England, America and the rest of Europe.

      Eightpiece cap, also called bakerboy or Newsboy cap, which is slightly narrower than our other selected eightpieces. All panels are of different Harris Tweed fabrics, with brown, green, and gray shades. The cap is made from the finest Scottish wool woven according to heritage traditions in the Outer Hebrides in Scotland. The name of the cap is named after the nickname for a character in Lord of the Rings: A countryman named Strider, who later turns out to be a true king's son.

      The famous Madame Tussauds waxwork exhibit of Brando from the movie ‘The Wild One’ wearing this style. The American actor and film director Marlon Brando Jr. was one of the most admired actors in the history of the movies. Marilyn Monroe called him “the sexiest man” she had ever seen. Marlon Brando's cap has become a cultural phenomenon for the stylistically dressed man. The cap is an eightpiece with loose hanging top, which can be pushed from side to side, as well as stand directly up in the air. The same details were seen in the movie 'The Wild One'. Featuring 8/4, eight-quarter paneling, a center top button and a contrasting black shiny leather bill, finished with canvas cotton band and buttons. Beautiful old craft. This wide eightpiece is durable and robust. The cap was Marlon Brando's original signature headgear. Some believe that this model is a 'women's cap', but we often see men both wearing caps and buying caps of this type. These days, the gender stereotype of the world order is fortunately in turmoil, even in the clothing world, and thank you for that. At Wilgart, however, we do not believe in the rigid gender roles, but inspire that you can dress as you please.
