Wilgart is very proud to have an increasing number of flatcap caps that are made from GOTS certified materials. The Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) is considered the strictest and most comprehensive certification in textiles. GOTS goods are checked by voluminous requirements for, among other things: Chemicals, energy consumption, social conditions and wastewater. All stages of the value chain are subject to thorough inspection, which is carried out by third party control bodies and which takes place unannounced. GOTS has zero tolerance to harmful chemicals and pesticides. That’s why Wilgart’s flatcap, eightpiece and baseball caps in organic GOTS certified fabric are among the most sustainable caps and hats on the market.

All our caps are even sewn in Germany or Denmark, following good craftsmanship traditions.

The summery yet robust balloon cap is made from 55% organic linen and 45% organic wool. The lining of the cap is made of organic cotton. Wilgarts cap shop is pleased to have many different ultra sustainable eightpiece caps. In addition to upcycling the lining in many of our caps, we are also happy to work with GOTS certified materials. This full-bodied balloon cap is flattering on most people.
