This bowl is intended to store the soap for traditional shaving. When you foam up the soap with your shaving broom, we recommend you to have a secondary bowl to further skim the soap.
By having two bowls, one for storing soap, and one for skimming the soap, you get an optimal shaving experience. When the soap is consumed, you can buy a soap refill for the bowl. When you buy a soap refill for this dish, the soap must have a maximum diameter of 81/2 cm, preferably with crescent-shaped.
