The hat is available in several colors, and has single-folding edging. Eightpiece cap, also called bakerboy or Newsboy cap, which is slightly narrower than our other selected eightpieces. All panels are of different Harris Tweed fabrics, with brown, green, and gray shades. The cap is made from the finest Scottish wool woven according to heritage traditions in the Outer Hebrides in Scotland. The name of the cap is named after the nickname for a character in Lord of the Rings: A countryman named Strider, who later turns out to be a true king's son.

This baseball cap is sewn from heavy buyer woven linen fabric and has a lovely mottled light color. The leather strap that can be used to adjust the cap is dermanaged from German cows, where the leather is tanned with the natural acid of the rhubarb plant. An environmentally friendly alternative to the normal chromium tanning process, in which the tannic acid is replaced by rhubarb extract. The cap is a sustainable product right down to the bone, and the leather brim increases the cap's lifespan, as it is often the material of the brim that wears out over time. Our professional assessment is that you can use this cap for a good ten years. Remember that a nice patina is part of the cap's strength.
