Boreal Cashmere Cap

Handcrafted cap from Wilgart’s own sewing workshop in Nørrebro,Copenhagen. Here comes the most luxurious 100% Cashmere wool cap. Ultra-soft, lightweight wool from Kashmir goats, featuring an exclusive, subtle pattern in a dark brown shade. The fabric is woven in Germany by the 18th generation of the Schürmann family, who run Schürmann Schr¨der textilwaren.

The cap is made in Wilgart’s cap and hat shop in Nørrebro in Copenhagen. We cut the fabric at our Bornholm workshop and assembled the cap parts in the sewing room on Jægersborggade.
Ultra lightweight cap with good thermal properties thanks to the noble cashmere fibers. We have chosen a thinner insert for the shade, and a light and comfortable silk/cotton lining. A real handmade Danish luxury cap.

Handmade baseball cap in robust upcycled cotton quality. The material of the cap is recovered from used textiles, contributing to a smaller footprint on natural resources.

The brim of durable suede provides extra durability on the most exposed parts of the cap.

Baseball cap in light green/grey organic buyer woven heavy linen design. A durable denim weave that is often used for workwear or bags, and therefore also in caps. Universal and durable cap that can be adjusted with a leather strap at the neck and comes in several sizes. The leather brim extends the life of the cap and you can probably use it for a decade or so.

The Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) is considered the strictest and most comprehensive certification in textiles. GOTS goods are checked by voluminous requirements for, among other things: Chemicals, energy consumption, social conditions and wastewater. All stages of the value chain are subject to thorough inspection, which is carried out by third party control bodies and which takes place unannounced. GOTS has zero tolerance to harmful chemicals and pesticides. That’s why Wilgart’s flatcaps and baseball caps in organic GOTS certified fabric are among the most sustainable caps and hats on the market.

Wilgart’s caps are even sewn in our local area, Germany or Denmark, and as always according to good craftsmanship traditions.
