Heavy-duty horn comb with case

The classic and very popular horn comb that is easy and comfortable to use.

Case: The comb is sold with a leather case made from leftover leather from a leather bag workshop in Crete.
The case protects the comb and we recommend using it for storage.

Horn is not flat, but round, curved and twisted. When making horn combs in the workshop in Denmark, heat is used to change the natural shape of the horn so that it flattens out. When horn is exposed to heat, such as sunlight, drying out or simply room temperature, it can begin to return to its natural shape – that is, it starts to bend and curve.

Approximately 10% of flattened horn combs return to their natural shape within one year. This is a natural process that does not affect the function of the product. It is not a defect, but one of the natural vagaries of the material.

Wilgart storage box for caps

These special designed flatcap boxes are made from old archive boxes that have become redundant after Copenhagen Archives’ extensive digitization of file cards in the 2010s and 2020s. They are made of fine light wood, with solid finger joints at all edges.

We have made the lids for the boxes ourselves in our wood workshop on Bornholm.

5-15% non-ionic surfactants (Laureth-7), anionic surfactants (Sodium Laureth Sulfate). < 5% soap (Sodium Palm Kernelate), preservative (Phenoxyethanol), enzymes (Lipase, Mannanase, Pectate Lyase, Amylase). Also contains: Aqua, Sodium Chloride, Propylene Glycol, Sodium Citrate. pH: about 8.5

Our custom cufflinks are made of Bornholm granite. That way you always carry two raw pieces of Bornholm with pure arm muscle force. It can be reassuring to always have the island up close, even if you are in New York or Tokyo.

The stone cufflinks can be combined with our hat pins of local Bornholm granite in matching executions.

Remember: Since the cufflinks are a handmade product of natural material, each cuff will barely be slightly different from each other.
