Since 1946, when Stig Andersen’s father set up the company with his comrade Berner, hats was handmade in a backyard in Nørrebro in Copenhagen. In Wilgart’s hat store we are pleased to sell these unique fedora hats handmade in Denmark by Stig Andersen. Wilgart Hat Box

Presentable and stable hat box in solid cardboard. Handmade hat box and storage box for hat.

Produced in Denmark for Wilgart hat shop in Nørrebro. This hat box is made of solid cardboard, in a social workplace here in Copenhagen. A social workplace is a place where people on the fringes of the labour market can be employed and have a meaningful working life despite social or physical disabilities.

Please note that the hat is not included with the purchase of the hat box!

Bornholm granite hat pin

Our custom-made hat pins are made of Bornholm granite. With the hat pin, you can always have the opportunity to carry a piece of Bornholm with you wherever you are It can be reassuring to always have the island close, even when you are in London or Paris. The ornamental needle can be used for sixpence, eightpieces and various hats with and without hat bands. In addition, you can use this ornamental needle as an old-fashioned tie pin.

Hat ornaments with granite stones can be combined with our cufflinks also with local Bornholm granite.

Remember: Since the ornamental needle is a handmade product of natural material, each hat needle will be slightly different from each other.

Replaceable Hat ribbon

With these ribbons, you can change the styling of your hat. Gives you good flexibility in your attire.

Fits the Woolfelt Bogart hats from Wilgarts hatstore, handmade in Denmark. If you want to use the hat bands for our rabbit or beaver fur felt hats, please contact us to talk about your options here. These ribbons cannot be used if your hat has a bow on the ribbon which is typically stitched onto the hat.

The hat bands are pressed down over the hat, resting on the felt. The bands have a degree of flexibility, which allows this practical solution, mounted without any sewing.
