Kaffak organic baseball cap (GOTS)

Wilgart is very proud to have an increasing number of flatcap caps that are made from GOTS certified materials. The Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) is considered the strictest and most comprehensive certification in textiles. GOTS goods are checked by voluminous requirements for, among other things: Chemicals, energy consumption, social conditions and wastewater. All stages of the value chain are subject to thorough inspection, which is carried out by third party control bodies and which takes place unannounced. GOTS has zero tolerance to harmful chemicals and pesticides. That’s why Wilgart’s flatcaps and baseball caps in organic GOTS certified fabric are among the most sustainable caps and hats on the market.

Wilgart’s caps are even sewn in our local area, Germany or Denmark, and as always according to good craftsmanship traditions.

Sailor Nørrebro (thick wool)

This cap is characterized by its raw and rustic black wool, like a midnight raven flying over the extinguished streetlights of Nørrebro.

It’s unique sailor caps like these that make Wilgart the preferred choice for a hat lover and cap specialist.

Since 2010, Wilgart has been working to get caps sewn domestically again. The last time caps were produced was when the defunct company “Brødrene Katz” produced caps in Griffenfeltsgade, which closed in the mid-1990s. Today, Wilgart is the only cap maker in the country.

Wildur solid summer cap

Baseball cap in light-colored organic buyer-woven heavy linen design. A durable denim weave that is often used for workwear or bags, and therefore also in caps. Universal and durable cap that can be adjusted with a leather strap at the neck and comes in several sizes. The leather brim extends the life of the cap and you can probably use it for a decade or so.

Semboa Aztec baseballcap

This genuine wool baseball cap, with cotton lining and a leather brim, is the complete opposite of the mass-produced bad caps you can usually find on the market. It is made of proper natural materials including the finest Scottish sheep’s wool, and with sturdy and durable leather-covered shade. All materials age gracefully and this brown baseball cap is available in different sizes so that it fits perfectly and is sized for your head measurements. There are no frills, the cap is craft-wise reliable and should be able to be used for at least a decade.

Wilgart’s mission is to make it visible to the Danes and foreigners that cap craftsmanship still exists, and that we can offer the quality that was once the standard in headgear. Handmade just for you. As Denmark’s last cap makers, it is our duty to educate and educate general people, in the culture of propper made headgear.

Cufflinks in Bornholm granite

Our custom cufflinks are made of Bornholm granite. That way you always carry two raw pieces of Bornholm with pure arm muscle force. It can be reassuring to always have the island up close, even if you are in New York or Tokyo.

The stone cufflinks can be combined with our hat pins of local Bornholm granite in matching executions.

Remember: Since the cufflinks are a handmade product of natural material, each cuff will barely be slightly different from each other.
