The Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) is considered the strictest and most comprehensive certification in textiles. GOTS products are controlled by extensive requirements regarding chemicals, energy consumption, social conditions and wastewater, among other things. All links in the value chain are subject to thorough inspection by third-party inspection bodies, which are unannounced. GOTS has zero tolerance for harmful chemicals and pesticides. That’s why Wilgart’s flatcap, eightpiece and baseball caps in organic GOTS certified fabric are among the most sustainable caps and hats on the market. <\/p>\n
All our caps are even sewn in Germany or Denmark, following good craftsmanship traditions.<\/p>\n
The summery yet robust cap is made from 55% organic linen and 45% organic wool. The lining of the cap consists of organic cotton.
