      Details of the book<\/h5>\n[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text el_class=”inline-link”]”Kasketmager”\u2014as the book is titled\u2014is about craftsmanship, hat culture, and headwear. It features historical accounts and images on the subject, as well as contemporary figures in an almost forgotten industry. The content is a combination of original texts and photos mixed with archival images, along with collaborations with external photographers, artists, and journalists. It includes poems and stories, but above all, photographs.<\/p>\n

      The book is 335 pages long, in a relatively large format (28 x 24\u00bd cm), and features countless original photos and magnificent, fascinating details about headwear. It will be published on October 30, 2026<\/strong>, in collaboration with the publisher Frydenlund and costs 399 DKK as a standard half-bound edition, or 799 DKK as a full-bound edition in wool and silk fabric.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column_inner][\/vc_row_inner][vc_empty_space height=”70px”][vc_row_inner][vc_column_inner width=”1\/2″][vc_column_text]\n

      Denmark is good craftsmanship<\/h5>\n[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text el_class=”inline-link”]Crafts always have good stories to tell and champion important values. Values that seep out of society, even though we all wish they were not. Values like thoroughness, knowledge, responsibility and taking the time to make a good product. By telling the story of the craft and the people who live by these values, we have a real chance of them remaining part of our collective self-perception.[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text el_class=”inline-link”]As a cap maker, my mantra isn\u2019t to sell more caps per capita; my personal goal is more about getting more and better caps out into the country.<\/p>\n

      More caps that are well-liked by the public, so to speak. To truly appreciate a cap or hat, you need to know a little about social norms, historical context, and practical use.
