We believe that this Grande razor is the easiest to operate. The diameter and length are greater than on the normal R89 Razor.
Our experience is that this scraper R89 Grande rests better by hand, and since we usually have other heavy tools in our hands, like tailor scissors and sewing machine tools, we are used to the extra heaviness and better grip. But that doesn’t necessary mean it’s the right razor for your hands? Drop by the store to feel the weight, shape and quality of this magnificent specimen of a traditional razor tool. The razor blades are continuously replaced and the razor should be disassembled and cleaned after use, and not least wiped off. One can advantageously add a little oil to the thread, just a drop about every quarter, to avoid corrosion.
The scraper R89 Grande is made of 100% chromed metal. Shaving is a sustainable alternative to single use razor scrapers and this razor contains no plastic elements.
The model has a ‘closed comb’ which provides a safe shave and optimal protection against scratches. The razor is compatible with all standard double-sided razor blades.
Width: 41 mm
Length: 107 mm
Drop the plastic scraper and switch to a classic double-sided razor. This DE (Double Edge) razor is brilliant for a good shaving ritual. With proper maintenance, the razor can be used for many years. A minimalist design and a clean, shiny glossy surface make this razor unique. The material is suitable for wet rooms and the chrome-coated razor is corrosion resistant, long lasting and has a luxurious appearance. But like all new habbits, shaving with an DE razor requires a little practice before you will get it right. Your skin needs habituation when switching to shaving according to traditional method.
The razor is closed comb and thus safer to use than the open comb model. If necessary, take a look at the video below before you start using the classic scraper.
