This dish is intended to store the soap for traditional shaving with broom and scraper. When you foam up the soap with your shaving broom, we recommend you to have a secondary bowl to further skim the soap.
By having two bowls, one for storing soap, and one for skimming the soap, you get the best experience of your shaving. When the soap is consumed, you can buy a soap refill for the bowl. When you buy a soap refill for this wooden container, the maximum diameter of the soap must be 81/2 cm.
