The Flatcap or sixpence is a rounded cap with a small brim that is placed under the front fabric. The flatcap is a major classic in capmaking, and inevitably popular booth in the past and the pressent. Is has a beautifull shape and a history that keeps it important to this day.

      A classic flatcap, with a quiet summery look. For both men and women. With its calm bright blue-tinted pattern and the combination of fine natural fibres in the fabric, it does well for both formal and informal events. The wool in the fabric keeps its shape well, while both linen and cotton make the cap breathable and durable. It comes with thin cotton linings.

      The fabric is water resistant but made of 100% cotton. The extra long cotton fiber fibers are gimped into solid threads and woven with a patented weaving technique.       The secret to the amazing weather resistant cap lies in the production of the fabric, which uses the top 2% of the longest cotton fibers in the world. This water-repellent dark blue flatcap, is water resistant for some hours of moderate rain. However, it is not Water proof like (some) rainclothes are. The fabric provides good comfort because cotton as you might know, is a top fiber in terms of comfort and breathability.
