The fabric comes from a historic and time-honored textile mill in Germany. It is likely one of the oldest industrial enterprises in the country, passed down through generations, and is still operated today as a family business.

A luxurious flatcap, handmade in Germany by Wilgart’s mentor, Herr Bullmann. The fabric is ultra-lightweight yet highly insulating. Cashmere wool is, on average, about three times as insulating as sheep’s wool. At the same time, the wool from Kashmir goats is both lighter and has a higher luster. These excellent properties are why cashmere products are considered the absolute top tier in terms of exclusivity.

Boreal Cashmere Cap

Handcrafted cap from Wilgart’s own sewing workshop in Nørrebro,Copenhagen. Here comes the most luxurious 100% Cashmere wool cap. Ultra-soft, lightweight wool from Kashmir goats, featuring an exclusive, subtle pattern in a dark brown shade. The fabric is woven in Germany by the 18th generation of the Schürmann family, who run Schürmann Schr¨der textilwaren.

The cap is made in Wilgart’s cap and hat shop in Nørrebro in Copenhagen. We cut the fabric at our Bornholm workshop and assembled the cap parts in the sewing room on Jægersborggade.
Ultra lightweight cap with good thermal properties thanks to the noble cashmere fibers. We have chosen a thinner insert for the shade, and a light and comfortable silk/cotton lining. A real handmade Danish luxury cap.
